Community marine center opens in Gambia

Empowering coastal youth through hands-on ocean education.

ACMP celebrated the launch of a new Marine Learning Center in Cape Coast, Ghana. The center offers interactive exhibits, workshops, and marine science training for students and community members. It aims to foster a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems and the importance of sustainable coastal management.

Over 300 students have already participated in hands-on activities, including beach cleanups, biodiversity monitoring, and storytelling sessions with local fishers. The center is expected to serve as a regional hub for environmental education and youth engagement.
